		<description>The internet has always been geographically distinguished - the simple fact that different countries have different libel, tax and copyright laws has seen to that.

It&#039;s not going anywhere, and indeed it is going to increase at a rate of knots.

The iPlayer is blocked internationally because the BBC can&#039;t afford to buy the rights in third party content used in it&#039;s programmes outside of the UK. And unless you have four or five billion quid a year lying round, that isn&#039;t going to change any time soon.
